CLOSING REMARKS | |
END OF CONFERENCE |
Please Note: The agenda is subject to change.
With such an intense and interactive nexus of connection for the great minds in digital health, we can empower innovation by fuelling the conversation to catalyse the industry.
nuviun wants you to be part of this critical event to explore the WHY, address the WHAT, and define the HOW. Help us to make history by changing the world.
Digital Health Live brings the future into the present as we “think from tomorrow” with great minds of influence, innovation, and authority in the digital health industry.
Digital Health Live is a unique opportunity to step into a vibrant and creative space brimming with thought-leadership and innovation, embracing the most exciting and promising movement ever to impact global health.
At Digital Health Live we begin with WHY. It’s the foundational question behind every great movement in history.
At nuviun, our WHY stems from a belief that we can change the world and we see digital health as the vehicle to do it.
That’s not hype. That’s vision.
And it’s what we’ll create at Digital Health Live, too—a vision for what’s possible when great minds come together around the convergence of technology and the multibillion-dollar healthcare, medicine, sports and fitness industries.
Digital Health Live provides an experiential walk into the future.
Our interactive Expo Zone provides the perfect venue for the world’s first interactive and immersive Digital Health experience—an integrated hands-on look at how digital health technologies are impacting health and the provision of healthcare around the world.
We understand the need to make the right connections at the right time. At Digital Health Live, we’ll have all of the key players gathered under the same roof—decision-makers, investors, entrepreneurs, providers, patient representatives and industry experts.
These important stakeholders can make things happen when they meet at the right time and the right place.
Digital Health Live is that place—the chance to connect and set the agenda for the way forward together with thought leaders from around the world that nuviun has built deep relationships with.
Although there have been a number of conferences in the region covering traditional healthcare and fragments of the digital health industry, Digital Health Live is the first in the region that embraces the entire landscape of the digital health movement
We’ll be bringing together all of the pieces of the puzzle to jointly create a vision of the future for digital health in the GCC and around the world.
Sponsors will interface with the key stakeholders from around the region and around the world, providing a powerful opportunity to build important relationships and increase brand visibility.
Such an environment offers participating companies the ability to establish themselves as leaders in the industry, expand the presence of their products and services in the global marketplace, and significantly enhance return on investment.
This is not just another event. Digital Health Live's goal is to create a roadmap and agenda for change. The UAE has a strong vision to be a smart city and healthcare is one of its top priorities. Couple this with little-to-no legacy infrastructure, as well as regulation that can be rewritten where it makes sense, and it becomes evident why many experts are recognising that this region has a huge opportunity to be the testing ground for real and radical change.
For this to happen, you need to connect the experts who have the know-how with the decision-makers who have the vision and the resources. Digital Health Live is the place to make such a connection.
This event is fully supported by the UAE local health authorities, and there is a huge vested interest for this meeting to be the launchpad for change.
It's an experiential walk into the future of healthcare. It will be free to attend and we are expecting attendance to be in the thousands.
To sponsor the event or for further information please email nuviun on [email protected]
Digital Health Live 2015 will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the region's largest purpose-built conference and event facility.
Though the digital health landscape has rapidly evolved, the potential for real progress is much greater still—and the GCC market is the perfect place to achieve it.
The West has led innovation, but effective implementation has been hindered by an environment thick with legacy infrastructure, bureaucracy, regulatory restrictions and reimbursement limitations.
Countries in the Gulf region aren't hindered by the same factors. This alternate dynamic provides a unique and significant opportunity to leapfrog, lead and catalyse the digital health momentum here. With the recent massive growth in healthcare spend, and an expected sector worth $60bn by 2025—it's apparent that this region is committed to do what's needed to improve the quality of its healthcare systems.
The spirit of cooperation here makes a difference. Dubai's track-record of successfully hosting world-class business events can be attributed to effective collaborations between the government, industry and local communities. At the crossroads of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, Dubai is the 'world's next door neighbour'—offering easy access to many of the world's largest and fastest-growing economies. One-third of the global population is within 4 hours flying-time and two-thirds are within 8 hours.
A leading interational centre for business, commerce, industry and tourism, Dubai's dynamic workforce and government have a radical vision for a smart future. This means that strategic infrastructure and transportation project investments continue to grow— ensuring a prosperous economic future.
